Speech Technology in Poland

While speech technology has made impressive progress for English, German and Japanese, we cannot
talk about any "revolution" in this field until respective tools and software for a substantial
number of other languages is developed. This presentation is intended to show the state of
research in this field in Poland. Some new developments in speech synthesis, recognition and
analysis will be presented, including some facts related to our international collaboration in
this field.
